According to a press release, TNT sports has acquired the U.S. media rights to the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). This brings the prestigious endurance racing series to American fans via two platforms, starting this weekend.

The press release notes that truTV will air in full three premier events this season — the 24 Hours of Le Mans on June 13-14, the Rolex 6 Hours of São Paulo on July 12, and Lone Star Le Mans in Austin, Texas, on Sept. 6.

Additionally, all eight of the WEC events will stream on HBO Max, starting with the 6 Hours of Imola on April 19. This includes the Qatar 1812km that WEC rescheduled due to the ongoing war between the United States/Israel and Iran.

The FIA WEC races pit numerous manufacturers and teams against each other on circuits all over the world. They compete in different classes, with the top-level Hypercar class taking top billing.

Some of the manufacturers include Ferrari, Toyota, Cadillac, BMW, Genesis, Peugeot, and Aston Martin. Genesis is a new addition to the manufacturer lineup as 2026 marks the first foray into motorsports by the Hyundai luxury brand.

Now, all of these teams and manufacturers will be under an increased spotlight with the WEC schedule moving to truTV and HBO Max.
