Quinton Aaron is headed back to work after a health crisis that nearly cost him his life.

Aaron, best known for starring alongside Sandra Bullock in the 2009 hit "The Blind Side," has landed his first acting project since suffering a spinal stroke earlier this year, according to TMZ.
And this one will be especially personal. TMZ reports that Aaron will star in a 60-episode vertical microdrama inspired by true events from his own life, including some of his relationship experiences. Each episode is expected to run approximately two to three minutes on Atwist, a new vertical entertainment platform.
The project remains in development, with filming expected to begin soon. Aaron reportedly hasn't decided whether he will actually portray the character based on himself, but he will appear in the series in some capacity.
Getting back on a set represents quite a milestone.
Aaron suffered a spinal stroke earlier this year and was placed on life support. He later had his tracheal tube removed, regained his ability to speak and continued making progress in his recovery.
Aaron subsequently revealed that he had been intubated and placed in a coma during the ordeal. He also told TMZ that he experienced a vision of Jesus before eventually awakening in the hospital.
Now, sources told the outlet that Aaron is doing significantly better and excited about returning to acting.
After everything he's been through in 2026, simply getting back in front of a camera qualifies as a pretty significant comeback.
