Les Miles is running out of opportunities, and with most head coaching vacancies filled, he could settle for the one spot he recently all but ruled out — in the TV booth with ESPN.

Miles will reportedly be on ESPN for the National Championship game Monday night, which could serve as a tester for the former LSU coach:
Miles was reportedly a candidate for jobs at Purdue, Houston and other schools before the offseason really even got started. He swung and missed on each of those jobs, but did not sound resigned to taking a booth job (via SEC Country):
"I'm a coach. I have so much experience with the things that I've done that it's hard for me to put that behind me. In other words, I don't know how to [be in the media]. But I can [coach]."
At the age of 63, Miles certainly is not beyond the age in which he should be considered for jobs and, frankly, it seems unlikely that he wouldn't be able to land one in the near future. With that said, ESPN probably won't stop coming after him and, at a certain point, he may have to open his mind to that possibility.
