Former WWE superstar "Stone Cold" Steve Austin has been involved in a crash while participating in his newfound passion, racing.

Austin, who has become heavily involved in off-road racing in recent years, posted a series of photos on his Instagram this week. Two of the photos showed him racing through the wilderness in his Kawasaki.
The other photo, however, showed the off-roader on its side. Austin leaned against the overturned vehicle with dirt covering his head.
"Made a mistake on the course and knocked us out of the race on Saturday," he wrote. "Myself and Co-driver (Jon) are both 100% The car took some pretty good damage and we are working on getting it ready for VC-Tonopah next race.
"(Valley Off Road Race Association) put on a great race and we certainly left the chat too soon. Thanks to VORRA Recovery Jeff for the assist. We put the car back together good enough to drive back to main pit on the back roads.
"This has been a great season of racing and the H2 is a helluva car. We set out to finish every race. And my mistake cost us a finish. I have learned many things from it that I will take into future races. Do you even race, bro?"
Off-road racing has become a major passion of Austin, who regularly posts about the events on his social media profiles. He has focused on improving his craft while becoming more competitive behind the wheel.
The work has paid off for Austin, even though he says he made a mistake this past week. According to the VORRA website, he currently leads the Pro Stock Mod division with 237 points.
The wrestler-turned-racer scored 80 points in one event, 75 points in another event, and 82 points in a third event.
The other racers in this division include Robert Rice (157 points), Cody Wolfe (106), and Cliff Wilson (74). Wilson only competed in one event, according to VORRA.
