This college football season has been dramatic all on its own, but there are some who think ESPN might have manipulated it with their primetime games and "East Coast bias" so that the Big 12 and the Pac-12 would be left out of the College Football Playoff this year. However, that obviously wasn't the case as Washington was in the top four.

That hasn't stopped everyone from being salty about Penn State —- the Big Ten champion —- being left out and apparently left Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott with a sour taste in his mouth despite one of his teams getting in.

The fact that Scott even came out and said that at all shows how insecure he actually was about the decision. There was absolutely no way two conference non-champions were getting into the Playoff in Ohio State and Michigan so he really had nothing to worry about. But that just goes to show how much conference commissioners are paying attention to what ESPN does with its coverage as well.
