The mayor of New York City has provided some new information about a high-profile wedding involving Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.

Speaking with media on Friday, Mayor Zohran Mamdani said that Swift had paid out $160,000 after she and Kelce had exchanged vows at Madison Square Garden. This covered the $60,000 permit to shut down the streets around the basketball arena, as well as $100,000 to cover overtime by the police officers.
Of course, Swift and Kelce spent far more money to make their wedding happen. They also had to pay for the venue rental so that countless select guests to attend and watch them celebrate their love.
