Five-star SF Taeshon Cherry names his definite favorite right now

It sounds like he is getting close here.

Five-star small forward Taeshon Cherrry decommitted from USC back in December and has been looking for a new school since. He set up an official visit to Arizona State and Texas A&M. He just took his visit to the Sun Devils and he knows which school is his favorite right now.

Despite his decommitment from USC and the FBI probe the school is involved with, the Trojans are apparently still in the mix for the 6-foot-8, 210-pound forward out of San Diego. UCLA shouldn't come as a surprise while Illinois seems like a bit of an oddball in the group, but he clearly sees something he likes about the university.

Cherry is ranked as the No. 22 overall recruit, the No. 8 small forward and the No. 1 player in California according to ESPN. He also has offers from Arizona, St. John's, Vanderbilt, California, Florida State, Gonzaga and Kansas among others.
