Former Arkansas coach Bret Bielema says he's got options for his next coaching job and is 'considering' making one move

Will he pull the trigger on it?

Former Arkansas coach Bret Bielema might have been fired under pretty awful circumstances, but he did end up with a nice buyout for what that might be worth. However, it looks like he might be getting back on his feet pretty soon as he told Andy Staples of Sports Illustrated that he's gotten a bunch of offers from NFL teams and he is considering taking one of them up on it.

Bielema said "about a half dozen" NFL teams have reached out to him about coaching at that level next season. He's thinking about it, too. He realizes he wouldn't be able to walk into a head coaching job, but he's intrigued by the idea of coaching the best players without dealing with some of the more annoying aspects of recruiting.

"I don't mind Twitter," Bielema said. "But when a kid makes a decision based on how many Twitter followers he gets, that's when I'm about ready to tap out."

If Bielema isn't a fan of kids choosing where to go based on Twitter followers, then he is going to love the NFL, which has ironclad contracts. He also described his typical day now that he's not coaching and he's already said that he wants back in to football. He also mentioned that he's gotten offers to be an assistant coach as well as TV analyst jobs so we will have to see how it all turns out this offseason.
