Report: Chip Kelly met with one school, but "may" want to talk with another program before decision

Is Chip Kelly close to a decision?

Chip Kelly has gone from failed NFL head coach to one of the hottest commodities on the college coaching circuit.

According to multiple reports, Kelly met with Florida officials. The only thing reportedly holding him back is he "may" want to talk with UCLA before making a decision. UCLA fired head coach Jim Mora on Sunday morning:

Kelly has been one of the names linked to the open Florida head coaching job and he also has reported interest in the now open UCLA job as well. There was a plane watch for Kelly due to a plane leaving Gainesville for an airport near Connecticut where Kelly works and so while he was on ESPN doing his job, he was asked about the Florida job.

Here's the important part of what he said in the video:

"I was in New Hampshire last week. I really enjoy doing what I'm doing now. I think Florida is an outstanding program and has had so much success with Urban [Meyer] and Steve Spurrier. I think whoever gets that job would be really lucky."

Kelly was pretty good with the question and even joked about it too. However, that's a pretty good non-answer about where his head is at in regards to a potential return to coaching. It looks like we will be waiting just a bit longer to see if he gets back into college football coaching.
