Four-star WR Ja'Marr Chase had one reason why he picked Florida over everyone else

That's a helluva domino effect.

It's amazing how much one commitment can affect a program.

On Sunday, four-star wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase announced that he had committed to Florida. When asked why, Chase reportedly said that his commitment came down to one important factor: the recent commitment of five-star quarterback Matt Corral.

Corral also committed to Florida over the weekend, and it looks like the quarterback is already doing his best to make sure that he has talent on the Gators' offense once he gets there. Florida has had some offensive woes in recent years, but Corral and Chase could prove to be an effective duo in the future.

Both Chase and Corral committed to Florida after previously holding pledges to other schools; Chase committed to Kansas before decommitting a while back, while Corral was committed to USC before backing off that pledge last month.

Thanks to Chase and Corral, Florida now has 13 commitments for the 2018 recruiting class. The two are the highest-rated prospects for Florida according to 247Sports, with Corral by far being their top recruit overall.
