Locker rooms are a sanctuary. Hours upon hours of time are spent there, and it's where relationships between players and coaches are cemented forever. It's where passion boils over, and the true nature of people is revealed. After an emotional victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide, LSU head coach Ed Orgeron delivered a fiery postgame speech that checked all those boxes, just in case you needed more proof about how much this guy loves Louisiana.

The LSU Tigers dominated the first half against its arch-rival in the SEC West, but a second-half run by Alabama and coach Nick Saban made this "Game of the Century" one of the best you'll see this year. LSU won, 46-41, snapping an eight-game losing streak to the Crimson Tide — 87 combined points were the most in this rivalry's 124-year history.
After the game, every LSU Tiger was ecstatic. Teammates hoisted quarterback Joe Burrow onto their shoulders and carried the Heisman Trophy frontrunner off the field after his three-touchdown performance. Hundreds of football fans greeted the team when they arrived back home in Baton Rouge. There's a legitimate possibility some people still haven't taken off their LSU pajamas since Saturday night.
It was a party in the bayou, but no one was as fired up as Coach O.
While addressing the LSU locker room after the game, one LSU player started a live video on Instagram. You can hear the football coach's raspy, Cajun voice going off in the background, as he spills a profanity-laced rant that shows just how much this win means to him and the program.

"We're going to beat [Alabama's] ass in recruiting. We're going to beat their ass every time they see us. You understand me? Roll Tide what? F—- you!"
This was a massive win for Louisiana State University, especially because it came at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The Tigers were in the driver's seat for an SEC Championship berth, and with this resume booster, it basically guaranteed a spot in the College Football Playoff.
There was a legitimate chance LSU could've played this same Alabama football team again when the final CFP rankings rolled out. You better believe that while the college football world celebrated the Crimson Tide's defeat, everyone in Tuscaloosa saw this.
The bulletin board is loaded with fresh material, and with LSU finally getting the monkey off its back, Orgeron's fiery rant just took this rivalry to a completely new level.
UPDATE: Coach Orgeron responded to the video getting out during his press conference on the following Monday, saying that the "emotional moment" with his team shouldn't have gotten out.
"It shouldn't happen. I addressed the player who did it. He felt bad about it," Orgeron said. "I think it's just the product of today. We all, everybody, carries their phone with them all the time. I don't think it was done with malintent or nothing like that, so I addressed it with the young man. I don't think it's going to happen again."
