John Goodman is a resident of New Orleans, Louisiana. The Golden Globe Award-winning actor portrayed LSU football player Ed "Bull" Lawrence in the 1988 film Everybody's All American. Goodman earned a football scholarship to play at Missouri State University. There's that epic picture of Goodman wearing an LSU t-shirt. He might be from Missouri, but the man breathes LSU football.

So, what happens when Tiger football mashes up with John Goodman's iconic voice? That's what the LSU Tigers production team whipped up before the SEC champions take on the Oklahoma Sooners in the first of two College Football Playoff semifinal games on Saturday, December 28, and it's awesome.
John Goodman plus LSU football equals an epic hype video prior to the 52nd Peach Bowl.
John Goodman Narrates LSU Hype Video
Goodman was ESPN College GameDay's guest picker for when LSU hosted the Florida Gators earlier this season. The Tigers, as they did 12 other times that year, emerged with a win in Baton Rouge thanks in part to running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire totaling 134 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
The Sooners dropped a hype video for the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, too. But with all due respect to the OU team, John Goodman and Ravens strong safety Tony Jefferson just aren't even on the same level.
What Time is the Oklahoma-LSU Game?
The Sooners and Tigers meet at 4 p.m. ET at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Joe Burrow has already beaten Oklahoma once, but he and the LSU offense need to be sharp with Jalen Hurts and Lincoln Riley's high-powered attack able to score with any team in college football.
The Ohio State Buckeyes take on the defending champion Clemson Tigers in the other CFP semifinal matchup. That Fiesta Bowl game kicks off at 8 p.m. ET following LSU-Oklahoma, and the winners of both games will travel to New Orleans with the College Football Playoff National Championship trophy on the line.
