Four-star safety Leon O’Neal has had a winding road of a recruitment in the last few weeks as he cancelled a trip to Alabama, had Johnny Manziel try to recruit him and named a top four list of schools. However, now he’s got a school he wants to commit to and he made the announcement official in a video he dropped.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound safety out of Cypress, Texas will keep his talent in-state and give it to Jimbo Fisher for the next three to four years. He’s ranked as the No. 8 recruit at his position and No. 8 recruit in the state according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.

He also has offers from Clemson, Georgia, Oklahoma, Alabama, LSU, Michigan and Ohio State among others.
