The Texas A&M Aggies may not have reached the College Football Playoff, but their 2020 season should still be seen as a resounding success.

Jimbo Fisher's third season resulted in a 9-1 record and a victory over North Carolina in the Orange Bowl.
With momentum now fully on their side, the Aggies can get even better in 2021.
According to ESPN's Football Power Index, the Aggies have a serious chance to rack up 10 or more wins this season.
Texas A&M University kicks off its season with a home game against Kent State on September 4. The first road tilt comes against Colorado at Empower Field at Mile High. Southeastern Conference play begins on September 25 as the Aggies battle Arkansas in a neutral site game at AT&T Stadium.

The hardest test for the team comes in a matchup against Alabama on October 9. If the Aggies are serious about competing for a playoff spot, this is the game they're going to have to win.
Last year's meeting didn't go quite as planned, so Coach Fisher's players are going to have a chip on their shoulders.
A&M's regular season will end on November 27 in Death Valley against the LSU Tigers. This is another game that will be tough for the Maroon and White, but if LSU struggles as they did in 2020, the Aggies will be favored in this one.
The SEC Championship is scheduled for December 4. If things go smoothly, and the Aggies are able to build off of their impressive 2020, fans in College Station could have a lot to smile about during the holiday season.
The SEC is always competitive, but this team is built for success, even against its toughest foes.
