Tua Tagovailoa Fuels His Heisman Campaign With This Incredible Breakfast

Iconic foods are the staple of every football fan's game day experience. While some mouth-watering foods aren't necessarily the most healthy, we can't help but dig in when they're thrust into our face. But let's face the facts: whether you're a stay-at-home parent or a Heisman Trophy candidate, everybody needs a good, hearty breakfast to start their day.

Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is off to a historic start in 2018. The sophomore also happens to know a thing or two about a quality breakfast, and he showed that the secret to his Heisman Trophy campaign this year might be what's called "The Tuaman Delight."

On Wednesday morning, Tagovailoa showed off his insane breakfast creation, with the help of Executive Performance Chef for the University of Alabama Kevin Murray, in a video posted to his Twitter account.

So, what does a Heisman Trophy candidate eat for breakfast?

How about a stack of French toast completely wrapped in bacon and smothered with syrup and powdered sugar, which is honorably dubbed as the Bacon French Toast Wrap.

You deserve a mouthful of breakfast when your full first name is a mouthful like Tuanigamanuolepola.

While "The Tuaman Delight" is a hearty, insanely unhealthy breakfast treat, you could also say that "The Tuaman Delight" is exactly what every Alabama fan is diagnosed with watching this kid play football.

Through the Tide's 6-0 start to the season, the Honolulu, Hawaii native is putting up numbers that we really have never seen before in college football. Tagovailoa is completing 70.2 percent of his passes, has amassed 1,495 passing yards, averages over 19 yards per completion, and has thrown 18 touchdowns against ZERO interceptions leading Alabama's top-ranked scoring offense to 56.0 points per game.

Oh, and he has yet to play in a fourth quarter this season.

When you're doing the kinds of things this southpaw is going at Alabama, you can eat whatever you want without consequence.

You can guarantee that I'll be attempting to whip up this gem while I watch the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide take on the Missouri Tigers this Saturday afternoon at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
