When LSU's Taylor Pleasants stepped to the plate against Auburn in the team's final game of the regular season, she was anything but pleasant to opposing pitchers.
The Tigers softball team hadn't mustered a single run through five innings against Auburn's pitching staff in the series finale at Baton Rouge's Tiger Park.
Down 1-0 in the bottom of the sixth, head coach Beth Torina's offense finally had some cooking with the bases loaded and nobody out.
Enter LSU's premier slugger and star freshman: Taylor Pleasants.

Pleasants drilled a middle-high fastball way over the centerfield fence. As she rounded the bases, every fan in the stadium erupted into cheers. Pleasants stomped emphatically on home plate as if to say, "this is our house!"
The play didn't come without some drama.
After the four-bagger, one of the Auburn assistant coaches was tossed from the game.
"One of the Auburn coaches has just been ejected from the game," the LSU broadcaster said as the team celebrated the home run.
According to softball reporter Justin McLeod, that coach was Emily Carosone. The 2-1 pitch before the grand slam fastball was borderline and was called a ball by home plate umpire Danny Bowman. Carosone might have still been upset over that call that changed the outcome of the at-bat and ultimately the game.
An Auburn coach was ejected following Taylor Pleasants' grand slam that gave LSU a 4-1 lead. Judging by the escort off the field, looks like it was Emily Carosone.
The pitch directly before Pleasants' bomb was a very, very close pitch that was called a ball by Danny Bowman.

Meanwhile, LSU softball was too busy crushing Auburn's hope and dreams to notice the ejection.
LSU pitcher Ali Kilponen slammed the door in the seventh and finished with a complete game shutout to wrap up the 4-1 win.
Auburn was given the No. 12 seed in the SEC Tournament and was instantly booted from the bracket by Missouri, who went on to oust LSU in the quarterfinals.
The Tigers will need the likes of Pleasants, Ciara Briggs and Aliyah Andrews if they want to crush any more teams in the NCAA Tournament, starting with the NCAA Regional in Baton Rouge.
