A large contingent of Norwegian fans headed to watch the Chicago Cubs take on the New York Mets at Citi Field. They then took part in a massive celebration after Dansby Swanson delivered a three-run homer to break the 3-3 tie.

The cameras cut to the different fan areas of the field and first showed some Cubs fans celebrating the big play. The cameras then showed the Norwegian fans, who danced in multiple lines.

"Is that the Macarena? What are they doing?" one broadcaster asked after first seeing the dance. The other responded by saying, "No, it's a special Norwegian dance."

The home run proved to be a turning point in the game for the Mets. The New York-based team gave up four more runs before the end of the 10-3 loss.

The dance is far from the only celebration that the fans performed during the trip to Citi Field. They also got several other people involved so that they could do their signature row.

The fans couldn't get into the Viking longboat formation due to the layout of the stands, so they sat in their seats and performed the motion. Numerous Mets fans also joined in on the action, as did the team mascots. Mr. and Mrs. Met both rowed in time with the Norwegian fans.

The fans have certainly shown up to support Norway as the team makes its first World Cup appearance since 1998. They haven't let this trip go to waste as they have taken in the sights and watched some major wins.

Norway kicked off its schedule with a June 16 matchup against Iraq. It delivered a 4-1 win and then faced off with Senegal on June 22. Norway won 3-2.

The next matchup for the country is against powerhouse France on Friday afternoon. The two teams will meet at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
