Alexis Olympia Ohanian, Jr. is the daughter of Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian. The 3-year-old is named after her father, the Mayor of the Internet and co-founder of Reddit.
Olympia's father, Alexis Ohanian, is an entrepreneur and venture capitalist with an estimated net worth of $40 million. He married tennis great Serena Williams in November 2017, roughly three months after the birth of their daughter.
Serena Williams' daughter Olympia is the spitting image of her mother. Serena and Olympia look like best friends on social media, always dressing in similar outfits.
Olympia even wants to continue the family business of tennis superstardom. When Olympia wasn't gallivanting like Belle in a Disney princess dress through Versailles, Serena gave her 3-year-old daughter tennis lessons during the pandemic.
They may rock matching swimsuits, but the tennis player won't push her daughter into anything she's not comfortable with.
Alexis Olympia's Tennis Career
The mother-daughter pair are happy to be a veritable Serena and mini-me. Olympia even donned a mini version of the Nike Florence Griffith Joyner (Flo-Jo)-inspired catsuit that Williams wore at the 2021 Australian Open. (Despite her digs, she fell to eventual champion Naomi Osaka in the semi-finals.)
When Olympia's dad posted the catsuit pics to Olympia's Instagram account, Williams couldn't help but comment:
"Awwwww mannnnnn I asked you to save this post until I was next to her side my side in my same outfit ??. Oophhh I guess I'll have to pull the plug from your phone tonight ... And you wake up wondering why you have no battery ?????????? LOL," Serena wrote.
The black-and-red one-legged track star-inspired tracksuit was first worn by Serena but perfected by her daughter. We might see Olympia in the Olympics one day, but for now, we're happy to watch her mom continue her legendary career.
