On a nightly basis, somewhere in the United States or even Canada and sometimes abroad, something amazing is happening in the NBA. It's impossible to see everything, of course, but it exists. Every. Single. Night.

There is one night, however, where amazing becomes unworldly. Having basketball's greatest players all on one court together creates a mind-blowing experience for even the casual fans. The NBA All-Star Game isn't for everyone, sure, but Sunday night's showcase inside Charlotte's Spectrum Center produced one of the most insane dunks you will ever see.
Midway through the second quarter, James Harden attempted to throw a lob to Team LeBron teammate Ben Simmons. The pass was intercepted by Team Giannis big man Joel Embiid and what happened next will be on be on the ASG highlight package forever.
After a couple of dribbles, Embiid tossed the ball to Stephen Curry, who immediately bounced it on the ground as hard as he could. Then, somehow and someway, captain Giannis Antetokounmpo soared, caught the ball, and slammed it home with one hand.
Sounds awesome, right? Well, the description doesn't even do it justice.

This is an amazing play for several reasons beyond comprehension, but here are three key points:
- Steph Curry's bounce pass alley-oop was so high it went out of the TNT television shot.
- Giannis Antetokounmpo's long arm stretched above the square on the backboard and his head was above the rim.
- The reactions from absolutely everyone inside the North Carolina arena were pure madness.
Seriously, take a look at this dunk in the first half from the Milwaukee Bucks superstar in slow motion:
There were so many things that made this night special.
Team LeBron erased a 20-point deficit in the second half to beat Team Giannis, thanks to Damian Lillard, Klay Thompson and Kawhi Leonard torching the nets, while LeBron James was LeBron James. NBA veterans Dwyane Wade and Dirk Nowitzki were honored for playing in their final All-Star Game. Golden State Warriors megastar Kevin Durant took home All-Star Game MVP honors after pouring in 31 points.
Yet, it was the alley-oop from Curry to the Greek Freak that stole the show and is a play no hoops fan can shut up about.
