There were reports and "chatter" that the Houston Texans had talked about bringing in Colin Kaepernick in the wake of Deshaun Watson's ACL tear. It would appear that Houston head coach Bill O'Brian is confirming those rumors and reports, according to ESPN's Sarah Barshop.

O'Brien talked to reporters on Monday and here's some of what he had to say:
"Colin Kaepernick is a good football player, hasn't played in a while," he added. "These things are going to continue to be discussed."
So while the team ultimately signed Matt McGloin and T.J. Yates, it looks like Kaepernick was definitely in the discussion and this could open up his chances of returning to the NFL.
