Former Pro Bowler makes his opinion clear on the new XFL

He has spoken.

Sports fans were pretty excited on Thursday when WWE CEO Vince McMahon announced that he would be bringing back the XFL. That included former Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel who tweeted his excitement about the move. That got some people asking other former players if they would join like this guy did to former Steelers and Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams.

His response was pretty straight forward and a little harsh.

The former Pro Bowler (2009) might have ruled out an XFL stint, but he isn't out of the game completely. He's trying to make his comeback after not playing all of the 2017 season. He's one of three running backs to have 6,000 yards rushing in both college (Memphis) and in the pros. He's the Panthers' all-time leading rusher and he also caught 236 passes for 2,106 yards and nine touchdowns.
