According to Johnson County Sheriff's Office records that have been reviewed by FanBuzz, the 22-year-old is being held on a $100,000 bond. The arrest reportedly stems from an alleged incident on Feb. 25 in which Mahomes is accused of initiating two separate acts of kissing business owner Aspen Vaughn of the Aspens Restaurant and Bar Lounge in Overland Park, Kansas.

Vaughn told the Kansas City Star, "He forcibly kissed me out of nowhere. And I'm telling him, pushing him off saying, 'What are you doing?' Then he proceeded to do it two more times where the last time I was pushing him off and I can see on the cameras that somebody was outside the office door and I was yelling for them to come help because he's big and massive."
She added, "It's disgusting. Like you're a child and he was trying to say, 'We should be a power couple,' and I'm like, 'Clearly you're out of your mind right now.'"
In a separate incident, Jackson Mahomes is accused of shoving a 19-year-old male waiter while at the venue.

While Jackson Mahomes' older brother Patrick hasn't offered a public statement, his wife, Brittany, has done so on her Instagram feed. One of her followers asked how she felt about the "comments about" Jackson prior to his arrest.
She responded by saying, "He is a human just trying to live his life and find his way, and until you walk a day in his shoes (which no one ever will) you have no right to say s*** about him. So it's best to just shut up."
Patrick has been silent on social media, where the Super Bowl-winning quarterback has amassed over 1 million TikTok followers.
Jackson denied the allegations in March via a statement released by his attorney, Brandon Davies, to KCTV5. "We have provided law enforcement with the tools and evidence they need to evaluate the claims against Jackson," it read. "Every interaction between people needs to be placed in the proper context. Releasing a short clip of any video does not provide proper context. We have faith in the process and look forward to a swift resolution of the matter."
