Much of the attention paid to Jerry Jones in the aftermath of the Dallas Cowboys' loss to the Green Bay Packers this Sunday focused on his comments regarding players kneeling for the national anthem. However, there was some football-related intrigue as well and it centered on Jones, who is also the principle football decision-maker in addition to team ownership, throwing some shade in the direction of head coach Jason Garrett.

In short, Jones does not seem thrilled with the way the coaching staff handled the final drive that allowed Aaron Rodgers and the Packers to come back down the field and win the game. Jones said the following to Drew Davison of the Star-Telegram:
"Of course, we are all going to second guess what happened at the end of the game and keeping the ball away from them a little bit more," Jones said. "But that's the way it goes. ... You give Rodgers a minute, and you're more than likely going to get a score in a critical moment."
This isn't the most direct blasting in the world but Jones is clearly not overwhelmingly positive in this quote. It should be noted that even the television broadcast raised an eyebrow (or two) to how quickly the Cowboys scored but, in the same breath, Dak Prescott barreled over the goal line in a situation where he could've crawled over it before a defender made a tackle.
Jones has a history of this kind of comment regarding his head coach and he's at it again.
