Denver Broncos star linebacker Von Miller hasn’t seen game action in 2020 after an offseason ankle injury left him sidelined for the year, though he’s pushing for a late-season comeback.

The All-Pro outside linebacker has been forced to watch his Broncos limp through the 2020 campaign after undergoing surgery to repair a tendon in his ankle. It was certainly an offseason to forget for Miller, who, in addition to his ankle ailment, was also diagnosed with COVID-19 in April.

Fortunately for him, he was in some good company while recuperating from his injury, spending time at home with his girlfriend, Megan Denise.

Early Life and College Career

Von Miller was born and raised in DeSoto, Texas, where he starred as a high school football player. His performance in high school landed him a scholarship from Texas A&M University, where he’d feature as a stalwart in the Aggies formidable defense from 2007-2010.

During his senior season in College Station, Miller earned Consensus All-American honors and was a Dick Butkus Award winner.

After dominating at the college football level, Miller declared for the 2011 NFL Draft, where the Broncos selected him in the first round with the second-overall pick.

Miller started 15 games as a rookie and made the Pro Bowl after recording 11.5 sacks and 64 tackles and helping the Broncos reach the playoffs. His efforts saw him earn AP Defensive Rookie of the Year honors. In 2012, Miller earned First-Team All-Pro honors after logging 18.5 sacks and six forced fumbles.

The pass-rusher was sidelined for the Broncos’ 2013 playoff run, but was a key part in the team’s success in 2015, when Denver won Super Bowl 50 against Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers. Miller earned Super Bowl MVP honors after recording 2.5 sacks and six tackles in the victory.

The height of Miller’s success as an NFL player came in 2015, and the Broncos haven’t returned to the playoffs since. Still, since that season, Miller has gone to the Pro Bowl every single year and failed to record double-digit sacks just once.

Von Miller’s Girlfriend

While Miller’s been at home nursing his ankle, you can bet your bottom dollar he’s been under the care of his girlfriend, Megan Denise. Denise and Miller were reportedly first spotted together in 2018 at the ESPY Awards in Los Angeles, and have made several public appearances since. The pair are not yet married but are reportedly engaged.

Denise is a former stripper turned Instagram model, who previously worked at the strip club Girl Collection in Las Vegas, which is owned by boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather. She boasts 1.1 million followers on Instagram, her preferred social media platform, where she frequently posts pics of her at the gym.
