Coming off his Monday Night Raw 25th anniversary appearance, Lawler confirmed on his podcast, Dinner with the King (H/T Cageside Seats) that he’ll be back ringside for the Rumble:

“Has it not been announced yet? Okay. … Yes, I am going to be at the Royal Rumble and hopefully, I think the plans are right now for me to call the men’s Royal Rumble match. I did last year too, so that’s a lot of fun.”

Lawler has not, as of this writing, been announced for the Rumble. The women’s Royal Rumble will have a special guest commentator in Stephanie McMahon, which was announced earlier this week.

Lawler was dropped from the commentator table full-time in July 2016.
