According to TMZ, WWE star John Cena is being sued by Ford after selling the 2017 Ford GT worth $500k for "a profit" despite agreeing to hold the car for two years before flipping it.

With that in mind, Ford is reportedly demanding Cena hand over all profit from the sale. Cena apparently told the company he sold the car and other property "to pay bills."
"Mr. Cena has unfairly made a large profit from the unauthorized resale flip of the vehicle, and Ford has suffered additional damages and losses, including, but not limited to, loss of brand value, ambassador activity, and customer goodwill due to the improper sale."
The report notes Cena was "selected from thousands of applicants for the opportunity to purchase the Ford GT."

Cena is one of the biggest stars in the current-day WWE. Alongside acting endeavors, Cena is a 16-time world champion in WWE, making him one of the most prolific champions in the company's history.
He recently got engaged to Nikki Bella at WrestleMania 33 and has returned for sporadic matches, including a tilt with Roman Reigns and a random appearance at Survivor Series.
When asked recently when the now-40-year-old Cena would retire from WWE, he was quite blunt — never.
After his No Mercy match against Reigns, Cena claimed he felt like there was "a giant burden being lifted off (his) shoulders" and credited the former champ for proving his worth as a potential heir to his role as WWE's "top guy."
He also confirmed that though he won't be totally walking away from professional wrestling, he will take on a different role as he gets older and pursues ventures outside of WWE.
"I think my role is different. Regardless of if I have outside opportunities or not, I'm 40 years old. I don't know how much longer I can keep going. I have to know when to say when. I'm not done, but I don't know if I can go at the pace I've been going. I guess I'll be like a weird Batman character, when they shine the light, I'll come coming."
If Cena really needs the extra cash to pay his bills, maybe we'll see him even more frequently in the WWE ring.
