Richard Childress Racing has announced that Austin Dillon, the 2013 champion, will pull double-duty at the Fort Worth track while showcasing returning sponsor Boot Barn. He will drive the No. 3 during the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race while making his first start of the season.

This will mark Dillon's 12th start at Texas Motor Speedway in the secondary NASCAR series, and his first since the 2017 season when he crossed the line in 10th place.
This is one of his best tracks considering that he has finished top-10 in his previous 11 starts there. He has finished top five in six of these races.
The Texas success has extended to the NASCAR Cup Series. Dillon has finished top 10 in the last two Cup races at the 1.5-mile track. He also won at the track during the 2020 season. He held off challengers such as Joey Logano and Kyle Busch on multiple late restarts.
"It's incredible to be partnered with a brand that appeals so authentically to my everyday life and interests," said Dillon in a press release.
"It's an honor to be able to continue RCR's partnership with Boot Barn and even better to be able to represent Boot Barn in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series at Texas Motor Speedway, a track where I've had success in the past and always enjoy visiting, both as a racer and as a fan of all things western."
While Dillon doesn't have an O'Reilly Auto Parts Series win at the Fort Worth track, the organization has five trips to victory lane. Kevin Harvick won five races there in the secondary series between 2001-2012.
He will have an opportunity to continue this success at a track where Chevrolet drivers have reigned supreme in recent seasons. Four of the last five O'Reilly Auto Parts Series races at the track have featured Chevrolets in victory lane.
