Team co-owner and CEO Kelley Earnhardt Miller has confirmed that Rajah Caruth will return to the No. 88 in 2027. He will compete full-time for JR Motorsports after spending the 2026 season splitting time between two teams.

"Rajah is back in the 88 full time," Earnhardt Miller said during a Tuesday appearance on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

"We're going to have five full-time cars, so it's going to be an interesting season for JRM. Super exciting. He deserves to be here another year."

Caruth, 24, is set to close out his first full season in the secondary NASCAR series. He has spent the majority of the season driving the No. 88 for JR Motorsports, but he has also made 10 starts for Jordan Anderson Racing to remain eligible for the drivers' championship.

Caruth is 12th in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series Chase standings after posting nine top-10 finishes and two top-fives. His best finish is second at Iowa Speedway behind teammate Carson Kvapil.

This announcement finalizes the full-time lineup for the championship-winning organization. JR Motorsports previously revealed that Kvapil will be back while moving to the No. 8 full-time. Like Caruth, Kvapil split time driving for multiple teams this season while becoming a championship contender.

The team then announced that a reunion will happen. JR Motorsports signed Sam Mayer to drive the No. 1 Chevrolet in 2027. This deal brings him back into the fold after two seasons at Haas Factory Team.

The third announcement took place on Nov. 2. JR Motorsports confirmed that Justin Allgaier will be back in the No. 7 Chevrolet after signing a multi-year deal. He will delay his retirement so that he can pursue more wins and championships.

The No. 9 Chevrolet will continue to be the team's All-Star entry. It will feature multiple drivers throughout the season, including Ross Chastain and Shane van Gisbergen. The car will also have Spire Motorsports development driver Tristan McKee later in the season when he is old enough to compete in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series.
