Hendrick Motorsports driver Kyle Larson moved up a historic list by winning at World Wide Technology Raceway and Kansas Speedway. Now he's set to pass two NASCAR icons.

The win at WWT Raceway marked Larson's 33rd trip to victory lane in the Cup Series. This put him into a 29th-place tie with Fireball Roberts on the list of all-time winners. He then moved into another tie after winning at Kansas Speedway.
Larson now has the same number of Cup Series wins as Hall of Famer Kurt Busch and 2017 champion Martin Truex Jr. He will pass both drivers by winning one more time, and he will take sole possession of 26th place with 35 career wins.
The next driver on NASCAR's list of Cup Series winners is Brad Keselowski, who just confirmed that he and RFK Racing will part ways after the 2026 season. The 2012 champion has 36 career wins.
A two-time champion, Larson first won at the Cup level in 2016 while driving for Chip Ganassi Racing. He then won four more times in 2017 and once in 2019 before losing his ride at the team due to a suspension.
Since moving to Hendrick Motorsports in 2021, Larson has shown what he can do with consistent race-winning equipment and a top team. He has won 28 races while driving the No. 5 Chevrolet.
Ten of these wins came during the 2021 season as Larson set the record for the most laps led in a 36-race season (2,581). He dominated the Cup Series and ended the year as the champion.
Larson hasn't reached these highs in the Next Gen era, but he has continued to win at least two races per season. He has led at least 1,100 laps four times, and he has added another Cup Series championship to his resume.
This season, he went winless until the start of the Chase. Yet, he has since won twice in four races while taking the points lead from No. 1 seed Denny Hamlin. He will have an opportunity to continue stacking points this weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, a track where he has three wins and three runner-up finishes since 2021.
If Larson wins for the fourth time at the Nevada track, he will move up another spot on the all-time winners list and one spot closer to Keselowski.
