Marshawn Lynch, flamethrowers & beer highlight NASCAR's new ad

With Super Bowl 60 in the rearview mirror, the time has come for racing fans to prepare for the biggest race of the season. NASCAR has embraced this moment with a new commercial featuring Marshawn Lynch, flamethrowers, burnouts, and a lot of beer.

This ad, which posted on social media immediately after the Seattle Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots 29-13, started with actor Scott Eastwood. He talked about how "America's forefathers didn't throw tea into the harbor so we could sit quietly on the roof and drink champagne."

Eastwood then threw his champagne glass to the side and climbed into a bright red Ford Mustang Dark Horse. He proceeded to take off across an airfield so he could race a jet. Eastwood also raced through the woods and through a neighborhood while firing up NASCAR fans.

One particular part of his route took him past a house that seemed similar to the one from the film, "Friday." In front of this house sat former Super Bowl champion running back Marshawn Lynch and 23XI Racing driver Bubba Wallace, who recreated the famous "Daaaaamnnnn" line from the comedy film.

The duo climbed into a bright yellow Toyota, which they used to conduct some automotive hijinks of their own. This included some donuts on the tarmac.

Meanwhile, Eastwood continued his voiceover while Carson Hocevar and Cleetus McFarland did donuts in the Dale Earnhardt truck. They also fired up some flamethrowers for some added entertainment.

Reigning Cup Series champion Kyle Larson also got in the fun. He performed donuts in a parking lot in a Chevrolet Corvette while wife Katelyn shotgunned a beer. Technically, it was a Coca-Cola because of commercial restrictions. You can't show someone drinking a beer on camera.

"Raise hell, baby," Larson yelled.

"This wasn't made to be tame," Eastwood said before "jumping" his Ford Mustang. "It was made to be felt. This is NASCAR, so America, start your engines!"

This ad marks another release in NASCAR's new "Hell Yeah" campaign for the 2026 season. The series is making an effort to go back to its roots in a way while connecting with some fans that may have faded away in recent seasons.

The first ad in this campaign did not have an NFL player in Lynch. Instead, it featured fans in a bar. One, in particular, gave a rousing speech about the Daytona 500 while Front Row Motorsports driver Zane Smith sat nearby.

This ad also showcased some of the big names who have served as grand marshal of the Daytona 500 over the years. This includes actors Chris Evans, Matthew McConaughey, and Gerard Butler.
