As previously announced, this celebration of life will happen on Friday, Oct. 9. It will follow the Craftsman Truck Series Chase race. NASCAR has now confirmed that the ceremony will begin at 8 p.m. ET, provided the Truck race does not run over its allotted time.

It will be free for anyone who wants to attend. Those who purchased tickets to the Truck Series race can remain in their seats for the ceremony. Additionally, parking will be free after 5:30 p.m. ET.

This celebration of life will feature multiple guest speakers. The list includes Hall of Famer Kurt Busch, Samantha Busch, and team owner Joe Gibbs.

The other speakers include Fox play-by-play announcer Mike Joy, Christopher Bell, Noah Gragson, Daniel Suarez, Kyle Larson, and Austin Dillon.

The celebration of life will also have some other touches to honor Busch. Charlotte Motor Speedway will have a drone show and a post-ceremony musical performance by Cole Swindell.

Additionally, a curated selection of vehicles from Busch's career will be on-site at Charlotte Motor Speedway to serve as a timeline for the two-time Cup champion's career.

The NASCAR season has featured countless opportunities for fans and industry members alike to honor Busch's memory. The race at Bristol Motor Speedway served as a recent example.

This Chase race featured the return of M&M's as a primary sponsor. The company took over the No. 54 Toyota Camry driven by Ty Gibbs. As it raced around the track, multitudes of fans in the stands waved special yellow commemorative towels in the air.

Other races this season have seen fans honoring Busch on Lap 8, referencing his stint at Richard Childress Racing. The various tracks on the schedule also painted tributes to him on the infield grass.
