Trinity Rodman's Boyfriend is a College Basketball Player and Her Biggest Fan

Trinity Rodman has blossomed into a soccer star for the USWNT, and her college basketball player boyfriend is her No. 1 fan.

U.S.Women's National Team star Trinity Rodman may have a famous father, but you probably would have heard of her by now even if her dad wasn't "The Worm."

The professional soccer player has been in the U.S. soccer spotlight ever since she was a teenager. In all fairness, she was still a teenager just two years ago; the explosive striker is only 21 years old and has a long career ahead of her.

As fans fall more and more in love with Rodman on the field, they wonder more and more about her personal life off the field. Though details are scant, here is what you need to know about Trinity Rodman's college basketball-playing boyfriend, Chris Kuzemka.

Chris Kuzemka is a sophomore guard for the Loyola Maryland Greyhounds, a program that last made the NCAA Tournament in 2012. The NCAA basketball player is from Clifton, Virginia. He comes from a family with a history of college athletics; his grandad played football at Army West Point, his father was a Clarion University wrestler, his older brother Daniel plays soccer for Charlotte University, and his other older brother Nick plays football for Furman University.

After winning the Virginia Class 6A Player of the Year Award in 2020-2021, Kuzemka graduated from Centreville High School where he averaged 22.7 points, 4.6 assists, and 6.3 rebounds per game his senior year.

Though he missed over 60% of his freshman year at Loyola with an injury, he still managed to play in 11 games his first season and 33 games as a sophomore.

Though details on the beginning of Rodman's relationship with Kuzemka remain unclear, it does appear that the couple started dating during Kuzemka's sophomore year. Though they may have begun dating in 2022, they did not begin to share pictures together on social media until 2023. Loyola's campus is only about an hour away from Washington D.C., where Rodman plays professional soccer.

However and whenever the couple met, it seems that finding Rodman's love coincided with Kuzemka's increase in playing time with Loyola. I guess nothing motivates you to be a better basketball player more than dating the daughter of an NBA legend.

Trinity Rodman is a force of nature in the attacking third, much like her father in the paint.

Rodman is the daughter of controversial former NBA star Dennis Rodman and Michelle Moyer. She was raised in Newport Beach, California, alongside her brother, DJ Rodman, and half-sister, Alexis Rodman.

Trinity's winning soccer pedigree goes back to her high school days when her travel team remained undefeated for five seasons in a row. She committed to play college ball for the Washington State Cougars, but when the pandemic struck, Rodman's collegiate aspirations were put on hold. Instead, Rodman became the youngest player ever to go overall number one in the 2021 National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) draft at the age of 18. Rodman scored a goal within five minutes of playing her first NWSL game for the Washington Spirit and hasn't slowed down since.

Her breakout rookie season earned her NWSL Rookie of the Year honors, got her named to the NWSL Best XI, and won her the US Soccer Young Female Player of the Year Award. When Rodman signed a four-year extension with the Spirit in 2021 reportedly valued at $1.1 million, she became the highest-paid player in NWSL history.

Now, Rodman is helping lead a new generation of U.S. soccer stars, hoping to pick up where USWNT legends like Christen Press and Megan Rapinoe left them - the number-one spot in the world. No pressure, right?

Not for Rodman. In a June 2023 World Cup warm-up against Wales, Rodman subbed on for Alex Morgan and scored two goals, leading the U.S. women to a 2-0 victory. She is the youngest player to score a double in team history and won Woman of the Match for her efforts.

Rodman may be spending the summer abroad, but she hopes to come back with some souvenirs. However she returns, one thing is for certain - Loyola University's soon-to-be junior guard Chris Kuzemka will be glad she's back home.
