Tim Tebow Gives Awesome Postgame Speech in Florida's Hype Locker Room

Former Gators quarterback Tim Tebow was inducted into Florida's Ring of Honor, becoming just the sixth player to achieve the program's highest honor, during UF's 27-19 win over LSU on Saturday.

After a highlight video of him was played on the scoreboard and his name was unveiled above the north end zone, Tebow spoke by microphone to a sold-out crowd at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Florida. It's no secret Tebow can give epic speeches, but his postgame speech to the current team in the locker room might have you all in the feels.

Here's the speech in text form:

"I just wanna say to Coach Mullen, 'Hey, thanks for making Gator Nation great again, man.' And you know what? You can laugh about what he just said about straining and about not flinching, but the reason you won today is because you locked arms and you didn't flinch and you learned how to strain. And let me tell you something, the talent's not gonna win you a championship. You play like that? That's gonna win you a championship. That's gonna make you a championship team, because in any fight and every fight there's one person that flinches and if that's never you, you never lose. You play like that and you'll be a champion, and I'm super proud of you. And I'm proud to call myself a Gator today."

The former Heisman Trophy winner and two-time National Champion was known for his impassioned speeches during his playing days.

Of course, the most famous of those was Tebow's 'Promise' speech he gave to the press following a loss to Ole Miss in 2008.

The Gators didn't lose again that season, defeating Oklahoma in the BCS National Championship Game. Current head coach Dan Mullen was the quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator at Florida at the time.

The speech, meanwhile, was immortalized on a plaque outside the stadium.

Although their road to the College Football Playoff is tough, the Gators, now No. 14 in the Associated Press Top 25, may have some Tebow magic with them along the way. Florida plays Vanderbilt on the road this Saturday and squares off against Georgia in two weeks in Jacksonville, Florida.
