Before Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson became a Hollywood movie star, he was a dominant professional wrestler. Before he took WWE by storm, he played college football at the University of Miami. Before sports, well, he was just a boy with his entire life in front of him.

It might seem crazy, but Dwayne Johnson meets the requirements to become POTUS: He's a natural born, American citizen, has been a resident for 14 years and is over 35 years of age.
Sure, that doesn't mean he will win or even run. With President Donald Trump (2/1), Kamala Harris (6/1), Beto O'Rourke (8/1), Joe Biden (14/1), Bernie Sanders (16/1), Mike Pence (20/1) and Elizabeth Warren (20/1) having the greatest odds, it would be hard to imagine a professional wrestler turned movie blockbuster actor to beat out legitimate presidential candidates and win the Oval Office.
However, to say only 16 people in the entire have greater odds to become President should be one heckuva accomplishment for Johnson.
"I'm not ruling it out," Johnson said in an interview with IndieWire at the Sundance Film Festival, "I'm not ruling out the idea if I could make a bigger impact somehow, or potentially surround myself with good people."
The Rock joins Julian Castro, Eric Garcetti, Nikki Haley, Ro Khanna, Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey as 50-to-1 long shots to win the next election.
And get this: He has better odds than last election's Democratic candidate, Hillary Clinton, who now has 80-to-1 odds to win in a 2020 presidential run.
Other athletes or celebrities to make the cut include: Mark Cuban (100/1), George Clooney (100/1), Leonardo DiCaprio (100/1), Will Smith (100/1), Jon Stewart (100/1), Stephen Colbert (150/1), Clay Travis (150/1), Mark Zuckerberg (150/1) and LaVar Ball (250/1).
It's hard to say if The Rock will ever pursue politics, but if he does, the betting odds to land in the White House are certainly leaning in his favor by comparison to his peers.
