Defensive Back Blows Out Knee While Celebrating, Screams In Horror

Notre Dame was struck hard by the injury bug during the 2015 season and it got worse when defensive back Drue Tranquill went down holding his knee while celebrating a third-down pass breakup against Georgia Tech.

For those with weak stomachs (and ears that work), be prepared for a horrific injury and screams of horror from Tranquill.

Notre Dame Player Tears ACL Celebrating, Screams In Horror

Tranquill's pained screams could be heard on NBC's mics covering the play. Notre Dame lost Tranquill for the season as he tore his ACL. It was a shame for Tranquill, because he was a huge part in Notre Dame's success in defending Georgia Tech's triple option attack in the first half.

The good news is Tranquill came back and played three more years at Notre Dame. He was then drafted in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Chargers, the team he's still with.

Still, this injury will forever be one of the more unfortunate ones in recent college football history.
