Auburn Fans: Here’s What Color to Wear for Every 2019 Home Football Game

For Auburn Tigers fans, all eyes are on the quarterback race and the focus is on the neutral site showdown with the Oregon Ducks in Week 1. However, it’s time to start thinking about games at Jordan-Hare Stadium this season and what colors to wear on each game day.

Unless you have a lucky blue and orange jersey of Bo Jackson, knowing exactly what to wear can be a challenge. The weather obviously plays a factor. So does the statement you are trying to make in the return to your alma mater. Have no fear, though, because Auburn University has planned it all out for during the 2019 season.

From a new stadium entrance policy to different amenities to new tailgate locations, there’s plenty of information to unpack in “2019 Auburn Football Game Day — Know Before You Go.” But when it’s time for kickoff, you better be wearing the right colors to cheer on the Happiest College in America.

It’s going to be a big SEC party to celebrate the football team all season long, so get your orange and blue team colors and t-shirts ready to rock.

Game 1: Tulane Green Waves (September 7)

What Color to Wear: White

The Reason: Kick off the 2019 home schedule with the Inaugural Wear White game. This is going to look amazing, as long as everyone participates.

Game 2: Kent State Golden Flashes (September 14)

What Color to Wear: Orange or Blue

The Reason: Auburn’s Homecoming Game is definitely a little early this year, and it should be a fun time with likely an easy win.

Game 3: Mississippi State Bulldogs (September 28)

The Reason: It’s the SEC opener, which is always fun. It’s also Black Alumni Weekend, the 50th anniversary celebration of James Owens, and when the men’s Final Four team will be recognized.

The Reason: It’s the 8th Annual Military Appreciation Game.

The Reason: Get ready to scream at the top of your lungs for the Tigers against Georgia while also recognizing Derrian Gobourne for her NCAA Gymnastics Vault National Championship.

The Reason: Band night never disappoints.

Game 7: Alabama Crimson Tide (November 30)

The Reason: It’s the Iron Bowl, so busting out the best outfit is a must here. Not to mention, it’s the 30th anniversary of the Iron Bowl “First Time Ever” at Jordan-Hare Stadium and the recognition of the 1989 SEC champion football team.

It wouldn’t be college football season without War Eagle, Aubie the mascot, or Auburn orange and blue down in Alabama. So don’t get caught wearing the wrong colors on game day.
