Auburn Tigers fans received some good news this past weekend. Not only are they celebrating their comeback victory over Texas A&M, but the school hosted a visit from former Clemson Tigers quarterback Kelly Bryant.

According to ESPN, Bryant visited Auburn on Friday and had a "good trip" visiting the school and meeting with the team's coaching staff.
Bryant talked to South Carolina newspaper The State about his visit to Auburn last week.
"It was a good trip just sitting down and talking with coach [Gus Malzahn] and getting a feel for what they were all about. Feel it would be a good situation to be able to step into with the guys they will have coming back on both sides of the ball." — Kelly Bryant, via The State
Bryant left Clemson after four games this season and, taking advantage of the NCAA's new redshirt rules, decided he would redshirt and spend his final collegiate season at another school.
The question for the last few weeks is where Bryant will land? Auburn has been in this position several times before, most recently with Jarrett Stidham, who left Baylor and transferred to Auburn after the Art Briles scandal. Some may not remember, but Russell Wilson also considered Auburn when he was in the process of transferring to another school after he left NC State, although he eventually ended up with Wisconsin.
According to reports, Bryant has reportedly already visited North Carolina, Arkansas and Missouri, and will take a visit to Mississippi State in the coming weeks.
So, what is the best landing spot for Bryant? Where he lands will be based on two two things: where he can start next season, and what team gives him the best chances to compete for a national championship.
If it comes down to those two factors, Auburn seems to have those boxes checked. North Carolina, Arkansas and Missouri basically have no chance of competing for a national championship, or for that matter a conference title, in 2019. Missouri out of those three may have the best chance, but it's a long shot.
Now it comes down to Mississippi State and Auburn. We know this is Nick Fitzgerald's last season in Starkville, which may give them an advantage because we have no idea if Jarrett Stidham will be leaving Auburn after this season. In reality, that may end up being the REAL deciding factor for Bryant's next team.
