Anthony Davis Keeps His Wife Marlen Out of the Spotlight

Tall, handsome, and that unibrow —  Los Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis brings it all to the table...or the basketball court.

Anthony Marshon Davis Jr's basketball career has been exceptional so far. He was a high school star in Chicago, Illinois at Perspectives Charter School. He then committed to play college basketball for the University of Kentucky Wildcats and head coach John Calipari before his senior season.

Fresh off a consensus National Player of the Year and NCAA championship as a freshman, he was the first-overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft by the New Orleans Hornets. The young power forward filled the last roster spot on the gold-medal winning United States National Team for the 2012 London Olympics later that summer.

Davis blossomed as the bayou basketball team changed their name to the New Orleans Pelicans. He's made four All-NBA first teams, eight All-Star teams, two All-Defensive first team, two All-Defensive second teams, the All-Rookie first team, won an NBA All-Star Game MVP and led the NBA in blocks three times. With accolades like that, it's easy to see why he's an ESPN talking point on a daily basis.

Davis was traded to the LA Lakers on June 15, 2019. He's one half of a dynamic tandem with LeBron James and has asserted himself as one of the best basketball players in the world.

While AD's life on the Staples Center court is open for viewing, especially as the Lakers take on the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals in their 2023 NBA Playoff run, his love life is kept close to the chest.

We know professional basketball player Anthony Davis has a twin sister named Antoinette and that he's been romantically connected to WNBA star Brittney Griner and former University of Nevada player Dylan Gonzalez.

Davis' current significant other is Marlen P. Not much is known about their relationship other than they have a daughter, Nala Davis, together born in 2018 and bought a Bel Air mansion in 2021.

The Lakers star finally popped the question to his longtime girlfriend and the two tied the knot in front of family, friends and several celebrity guests lucky enough to receive an invite to the lavish wedding ceremony. After all, when you're becoming Anthony Davis' wife, you have to party it up.

The Davis' Lavish Wedding and Star Guests

Anthony Davis and his longtime partner said their "I dos" on September 18, 2021 in LA. Among the star studded guests there to witness the Davis' first public appearance as a married couple were teammates old and new, including LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, Quinn Cook, Jared Dudley, DeMarcus Cousins and Tim Frazier. Also in attendance were Calipari and Davis' agent Rich Paul and his new girlfriend Adele.

The National Basketball Association star looked dapper in a black tuxedo and showed off his singing chops by serenading his bride with a rendition of "Never Make a Promise" by Dru Hill. Lakerssquad, a Lakers dedicated Instagram account, posted plenty of photos from the big day. Rarely in the spot light, this is one of the few public appearances together other than the 2020 Vanity Fair Oscars party.

On social media, the superstar NBA player is all business. I tip my cap to public figures wanting to keep their personal lives private. The Brow knows a thing or two about guarding things, and he seems happy keeping his personal affairs that way.
