Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has a history of being outspoken and Jason Garrett has a history of being a mediocre head coach. It wasn't a fun recipe for why America's Team was not a very good football team back then and one 7-year-old boy was so fed up with it he decided to write a letter.

If it's true kids really say the darnedest things, then maybe the world should put Rylan Wood in a league of his own. Not only did he have the guts to write the owner of the most valuable franchise in the NFL, but he also told the man almost 70 years older than him how it truly is for fans.
Wood, a Mansfield, Texas native, wasn't able to finish watching the Cowboys' 28-14 loss to the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football in November 2018 because it was a school night, of course, but he told his mother, Kayla Jimenez, he would write the letter after school and here we are.
7-Year-Old Cowboys Fan Writes Letter to Jerry Jones
Here is the letter in full after the Cowboys dropped to 3-5 on the season:
"Dear Mr. Jones,
"My name is Rylan Wood. I am a 7 year old 2nd grade student in Mansfield, Texas. My family has been Dallas Cowboys fans since the team was started. I have a lot of Cowboy gear and I have met Zeke [Ezekiel Elliott], Taco [Vidauntae Charlton], Jason Witten, and two other players who play on other teams.
"You have made my mom very mad because WE SUCK! Every game day she is yelling at the TV and turns off the game. We are wanting to believe in the boys but it's hard. I hope "Coach Garrett" is clapping if this letter gets to you. See what happens when Dez X is gone?? The cheerleaders are better than the team this year. I do not want to hurt your feelings.
"Thank you, Rylan."
Calling out the team for sucking? Putting Coach Garrett in quotations? Challenging the front office decision for releasing wide receiver Dez Bryant? Claiming the cheerleaders are better than the actual players?
Man, Rylan, a second grader, had no chill. The seven-year-old didn't have to see the end of the game to know the state of the team.
At the end of the day, though, the young boy just wanted his mother to be happy and now the ball is in the court of Jerry Jones to make it happen and get back to the NFC playoffs and Super Bowl.
