Now that Mike McCarthy is out of the picture in Green Bay, getting fired in his 13th season earlier this month, it is time to get down to business and find the Packers' next head coach.

The next head coach of the Green Bay Packers should be someone with experience, preferably offensive minded, and can get along with star quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
With that being said, here are a list of the five possible candidates who might be a good fit at Lambeau Field Green Bay:
1. Josh McDaniels
A little Friday mini-scoop: Josh McDaniels isn’t the only potential Packers HC candidate that has college coaches paying attention as @CharlesRobinson reported. Matt LaFleur is another. He started his career in college and most recently coached QBs at Notre Dame in 2014.

He is probably the obvious choice for this position because his experience as a head coach. Although he was unsuccessful with the Denver Broncos, McDaniels has been the wind beneath Tom Brady's wings in New England and he sounds like he would be perfect for the job. But rumors are that McDaniels has a lot of choices to choose from and Green Bay is just one of them.
ESPN's Adam Schefter said that McDaniels won't take his search lightly.
"So the six, seven, eight openings, you tell me who the six, seven, eight coaches are that people are targeting, and last year when everybody hired all of these coaches, the majority of them were offensive-minded coaches," Schefter said. "And the year before they were offensive-minded coaches. They are always offensive-minded coaches. If they are always offensive-minded coaches, who would be the top guy in that area? Josh McDaniels."
2. Urban Meyer

Yes, I know what Urban Meyer has said since retiring again, but would he be willing to come out of retirement to coach one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time? It would be tempting. We all know what the man can do on the field, but will his off-the-field issues continue to haunt him?
3. Jim Harbaugh
Jim Harbaugh is simultaneously not a good coach but also somehow in contention for every open job in the NFL ever. That’s so strange.

Unlike Meyer, Harbaugh has NFL experience and has won in the NFL with lesser talent like he did with the San Francisco 49ers. But now that Urban Meyer is out of the Big Ten, it may finally clear the way for Harbaugh to become the big dog in the conference, which may have bigger pull than the NFL at least right now.
4. Vic Fangio
Unlike the other candidates, Fangio is a defensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears and brought the Monsters of the Midway back to life. The Bears are one of the top defenses in the league mainly because of Fangio. If he can bring in a good offensive coordinator, he may be just what the Packers need to turn their franchise around again.
5. Joe Philbin

So far so good for Joe Philbin. Since he has been the interim head coach, the Packers have been playing with more confidence and pep in their step. Philbin did have a little success with the Miami Dolphins and although he is unlikely to get the job, he is making a strong push for not only this job, but other NFL openings, too.
