We are five weeks into the 2022 NFL Season, and aside from bye weeks starting, what else does that mean for NFL teams? Well, for some, it means that they have gotten off to a great start and have put themselves in the driver's seat for making the playoffs this year. For others, there's a pretty strong notion that they will select within the top ten picks in next year's draft. A good majority of teams sit around .500. They realize that there is still plenty of work to do and that it will be a dogfight for the rest of the season.
So, you have your playoff picture. But where do these teams stand based on the record, winning or losing streaks, and of course, the good old-fashioned eye test?
1. Philadelphia Eagles (5-0)

Thanks to kicking woes, and Kyler Murray's lack of awareness, the Eagles escaped the desert with a win and remain the only undefeated team in the league.
2. Buffalo Bills (4-1)
WOW. The Bills just provided the literal definition of opening a can of whoop-ass. Captain Insano would be very proud.
3. Kansas City Chiefs (4-1)
Kansas City got into a quick deficit, but that means nothing when you have an offense that can score on every defense in the league.
4. San Francisco 49ers (3-2)
The 49ers look like the second-best team in the NFC and easily have one of the best, if not the best, defenses in the NFL.
5. Baltimore Ravens (3-2)

As soon as the Ravens got into field goal range, you knew it was over. Justin Tucker should, without a doubt, be a first-ballot Hall of Famer when his career is over.
6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-2)
The Bucs ended their two-game skid with a win over the Falcons. But the biggest story from this game was that the refs have no real clue what roughing the passer should be.
7. Dallas Cowboys (4-1)
This defense is outstanding and will be tested on Sunday Night Football as they take on the Eagles for the top spot in the NFC East.
8. Minnesota Vikings (4-1)
Minnesota has everything they need to win its division, and as long as it can beat most of its non-primetime games, it should have no problem doing so.
9. Green Bay Packers (3-2)
I went to brunch thinking this early game across the pond was over, and it turns out I was wrong. But don't worry, Packers fans, everything will be alright.
10. Miami Dolphins (3-2)

The Dolphins went down to QB3 on Sunday, and this team does not look good at all right now. People should start respecting Tua's name.
11. Los Angeles Chargers (3-2)
The Chargers are starting to click, especially Austin Ekeler, who is making an early case for Offensive Player of the Year over his last few games.
12. Tennessee Titans (3-2)
The Titans have turned things around after starting 0-2, winning three in a row, and with the Colts, Texans, and Broncos in three of their next four games, they could find themselves with three more wins,
13. Cincinnati Bengals (2-3)
It was a tough loss on Sunday Night Football for the Bengals. Their offensive line again looked bad despite the money and investment put into it during the offseason.
14. Los Angeles Rams (2-3)
I believe we will not see the Rams repeat as Super Bowl Champions this year. Their offense has no run game and is too one-dimensional in the passing game.
15. New York Giants (4-1)

Yes, you are reading that right. No, you are not in a dream. The Giants are 4-1 and have wins against the Titans and Packers.
16. Indianapolis Colts (2-2-1)
Ugly win.
17. Arizona Cardinals (2-3)
As mentioned before, Kyler Murray's lack of awareness forced the Cardinals to get an earlier and farther-away game-tying field goal led Arizona to drop below .500.
18. Las Vegas Raiders (1-4)
The Raiders are an excellent football team, but they are still a player or two away from being atop this league. Also, the pass from Derek Carr...B-E-A-UTIFUL!
19. Denver Broncos (2-3)

20. New England Patriots (2-3)

Pretty surprised the Patriots won 29-0, but that is what happened, and the Patriots are looking like a team that could be in the playoff hunt come December.
21. New York Jets (3-2)
Both New York teams have winning records. That's awesome. Also, this Jets team has developed and drafted well over the last two seasons, and it is starting to show.
22. New Orleans Saints (2-3)
The Saints are Jameis Winston. It will be an excellent or a terrible game, and there is no in-between.
23. Cleveland Browns (2-3)
Sunday's loss brings the losing streak to two games for the Browns, in a losing streak that could get up to eight before Watson returns from suspension.
24. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-3)

The Jaguars have fizzled out after an impressive start, but there is still a lot of promise and hope for this team with the right coach and quarterback.
25. Pittsburgh Steelers (1-4)
What is crazy is that this is an outstanding roster from top to bottom, but the record doesn't reflect that. I wouldn't count Pittsburgh out yet, but do not be surprised if Mike Tomlin suffers his first losing season.
26. Seattle Seahawks (2-3)
Seattle's offense looked great on Sunday, but it's hard to say the same for their defense: they allowed 39 or more points for the second consecutive week.
27. Chicago Bears (2-3)
A hard-fought game became a loss for the Bears, but their passing game looked much better as Fields threw for over 200 yards and completed over 70 percent of his passes.
28. Atlanta Falcons (2-3)
Despite the final score, this game was not as close as it appeared. The Falcons should continue tanking, and with their most recent trade, it looks like they are.
29. Detroit Lions (1-4)
Well, this is a different kind of heartbreaking loss. Many, like me, thought the Lions would win on Sunday; instead, they got shut out.
30. Washington Commanders (1-4)

Ron Rivera's recent comments seem like he's creating a scapegoat. Still, he knows the inevitable is upon him, as he should be let go before the season ends.
31. Houston Texans (1-3-1)
Every team has a win, as the Texans scored the lone touchdown of their game with just three minutes left following a field-goal frenzy.
32. Carolina Panthers (1-4)

They suck, and now they have fired their head coach. PJ Walker is set to start, so that will be exciting to watch.
