Odell Beckham Jr. loves to dance. You can consistently spot No. 13 on the field busting out some moves in between plays or after scoring a touchdown. The former New York Giants and current Cleveland Browns wide receiver put his dancing moves to the test in 2019 with a public stunt.
Ahead of Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta, OBJ paired up with the "Simms and Lefkoe Podcast" on Bleacher Report in order to pull off a hilarious prank, acting as a dancing crossing guard outside Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Unfortunately for Beckham, he wasn't in town for the game, as the Giants missed the playoffs after finishing 5-11 in the regular season, dead last in the NFC East Division.
But he did have a blast pranking people.
Odell Beckham Jr. Pranks Fans
The football player tossed on some security guard and crossing guard attire and stood outside the stadium, dancing while directing traffic on a crosswalk.
NFL fans were completely oblivious to the fact that it was Beckham as he directed them toward the stadium. Even Giants fans failed to recognize the three-time Pro Bowl wideout despite getting face-to-face with the electric crossing guard in disguise.
Eventually, individuals began recognizing the masked crossing guard as the former LSU Tigers superstar and 12th overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft, wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Those who did recognize the National Football League star were lucky enough to grab a pic with OBJ.
While the New Orleans, Louisiana native was showing love to the Giants fans he saw while performing this social media stunt, the American football star was traded to the Browns that offseason, reuniting with former college football running mate Jarvis Landry.
OBJ's dancing antics may have been the most entertaining part of that Super Bowl, considering the Patriots beat the Rams in a low-scoring affair, 13-3.
