There were national anthem protests all over the NFL on Sunday with members from just about every team partaking in the protest in one form or another. Some people believed that the league might hand down a punishment for players or teams who decided to either skip the anthem or protest it on the field. It turns out the NFL won't be punishing anyone for it this week:

In fact, NFL spokesman Joe Lockhart thought the protesting was "good" for the league:

And he even took a shot at the president while he was at it:

Considering that this would definitely set a precedent, will teams now end up doing this every week? Or was this a one-time large scale response to comments made by the president?
