"Expectation" is Rob Gronkowski has made his decision on NFL future

It's apparently been decided.

Rob Gronkowski is reportedly set to return to the NFL after weeks of pondering his future with the New England Patriots, per Ian Rapoport:

Gronk was noncommittal on playing in 2018 after the Patriots Super Bowl LII loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. It apparently wasn't as much the loss as it was the plethora of injuries he's suffered over his career.  Gronkowski had even reportedly considered retirement even before the 2017 season.

When he's done playing, Gronkowski is still expected to pursue acting, and to some degree, a jump to the WWE.

Gronkowski, 28, has been one of the best tight ends in the history of pro football since he joined the league out of Arizona in 2010. In his eight seasons, Gronkowski has been named to five Pro Bowls while recording 7,179 receiving yards and 76 touchdowns.
