That is the immediate, short view of the weekend.
Heading into Sunday's game, speculation ran rampant after Brady injured his hand during a New England practice. Following the initial report that stated he did need stitches, one of the best gunslingers in the history of the sport decided to wear a glove to help conceal what most presumed to be a hideous injury.
After the Patriots did away with the Jaguars, Brady unveiled his disfigured hand in all its glory.
What do you know? It isn't actually disfigured at all. Although, I would be lying if the first thing that caught my eye were the manicured fingernails and not the scar.
It was an interesting Sunday for Brady. Prior to the AFC Championship Game, he spent most of his time yelling at cameramen. During it, he led the Patriots from a 20-10 deficit in the fourth quarter to earn the victory.
Brady finished the game with 290 yards in the air and hurled two touchdown passes for the Patriots.
There were several controversies throughout the game, but the story remains the same. The New England Patriots and Tom Brady, weird looking hand or not, are on their way to yet another Super Bowl.
