Sidney Crosby has been dating Kathy Leutner since 2008, right around the time the Canadian professional ice hockey player began emerging as a superstar.

The two have dated for over a decade, yet their marital status remains unchanged. Perhaps the two will tie the knot in the near future.

The pair met in 2008 through a mutual friend, but have kept their personal life under wraps, and Leutner is not active on social media.

Leutner was born to John and Judith Leutner in Chantilly, Virginia. She's an established model who has worked with brands such as Abercrombie & Fitch and has appeared in Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Edition.

She pursued her modeling career straight after graduating from Chantilly High School, forgoing a college education in order to become a professional model.

Sidney Crosby Hockey Career

Sidney Patrick Crosby grew up in Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, Canada, to parents Trina and Troy Crosby.

Crosby attended Astral Drive Junior High School in the Halifax area, where he excelled as an ice hockey player.

His father, Troy, was a professional goaltender in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and played in the 1985 Memorial Cup. He was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens but never featured as an NHL player. Crosby's younger sister Taylor also played goalie on the hockey team at Shattuck-Saint Mary's High School in Faribault, Minnesota and later at St. Cloud State University.

Like his father, Crosby also played in the QMJHL as a member of the Rimouski Oceanic, prior to becoming one of the greatest players in NHL history.

After graduating from Harrison Trimble High School in 2005, Crosby joined the NHL and has enjoyed a prolific career, having played in eight All-Star games. He was the youngest player ever to score 100 points, which he achieved as a rookie.

The two-time Art Ross Trophy winner was nicknamed "The Next One" due to his potential to be the greatest player since Wayne Gretzky and has largely lived up to the hype.

He played for Team Canada in the Olympics, earning a gold medal in 2010. He took home two Hart Memorial Trophy Most Valuable Player awards throughout his career, and has been to the Stanley Cup Playoffs in 14 seasons. The two-time NHL MVP has racked up a plethora of goals, assists and Mark Messier Leadership Awards all while winning three championships for Pittsburgh.
