The Undertaker Could Appear at WrestleMania 35, If You Believe in Signs

One of the biggest attractions of the annual WWE WrestleMania event is the appearance of the Undertaker. Starting at WrestleMania VII against Jimmy Snuka, Undertaker commenced a winning streak at the "Granddaddy of Them All" that lasted from 1991-2013. After 21 matches, his streak ended in 2014 in New Orleans, Louisiana, after he was defeated by Brock Lesnar.

Following this loss, Undertaker gained victories at WrestleMania 31 against Bray Wyatt, 32 against Shane McMahon, and at WrestleMania 34 against John Cena last year. His second WrestleMania loss was at 33 in Orlando, Florida, as he suffered a defeat against Roman Reigns.

Despite seemingly being further away from WWE regarding participating in events outside of the company, The Deadman could be making an appearance inside MetLife Stadium at WrestleMania 35, as his photo is now being featured on the production truck for the event alongside Seth Rollins.

Since 2010, Undertaker has competed in a much lighter schedule, being deemed as what most would call a part-timer. As a comparison, Undertaker competed in 2010 21 times. Since then — a span of nine years — he has competed 21 times. In the five years of The Streak ending, many fans feel that his appearances do not have the same blockbuster feel as before.

Over the years, there have been numerous rumors that Undertaker is going to officially hang up his boots and retire from in-ring competition. This rumor became even more materialized after his loss to Reigns in 2017, as he ceremonially disrobed and left his hat and coat in the ring. In fact, WWE even promoted this WrestleMania appearance as "perhaps his final WrestleMania entrance."

Undertaker's last WWE in-ring match was at Crown Jewel in November, where he teamed up with Kane to compete against Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Undertaker competed two other times in 2018 outside of WrestleMania and Crown Jewel, defeating Rusev at the Greatest Royal Rumble in April and losing to Triple H at Super Show-Down in October.
