According to the report, the "Broken Matt Hardy" gimmick he's currently using in TNA has drawn rave reviews and WWE would be interested in bringing the "creative genius" back.
Hardy is a former United States, ECW and Cruiserweight champion when he wrestled in WWE. Hardy has recreated himself during his run in TNA as a top player on the weekly show and a world champion in the promotion.
Matt's brother, Jeff, reportedly was telling people he'd be returning to WWE once his contract expires in early 2017.
