Florida State had quite the offseason. From hiring Willie Taggart to replace Jimbo Fisher and scheduling big-time games for the future, the Seminoles always seemed to be making moves. It's time to play football again, though, and that means checking out what uniforms FSU and everyone else in the Atlantic Coast Conference will rock this season.

With Oregon taking the cake for uniform glory in all of college football, and with Texas, LSU, and Michigan all donning its usual iconic jerseys and helmets in 2018, it's Florida State that steals the show in the ACC.
That is spoiling some of the suspense, of course, but there are several other uniforms to highlight for both good and bad reasons.
The Classic: Clemson

There's surprisingly a lot of options here. Virginia Tech comes to mind. So does Pittsburgh. People absolutely love the Georgia Tech uniforms, too. But there is also something to be said for a program at the top of its game while boasting simple uniforms with a classic helmet of a tiger paw. Whether the Tigers rock all white, all orange, all blue, or some combination, these have been legitimate for decades and it still holds true right now.
The Brand New: Miami (FL)

A switch from Nike to adidas isn't always the most popular choice, but the Hurricanes have made the most of it. The greatest part of it is the Canes' new Primekit A1 uniforms are the best ones of the new brand to date. No matter if they just mades some subtle changes, these deserve a thumbs up, for sure.
The Strange: Louisville
Don't mistake strange for being awful. In fact, the Cardinals deserve some props for busting out some creative combinations with great chrome helmets in recent years. However, that comes with a risk. Not all of them click and what on earth is that font for the players' names? For every good quality and combination, there is another something to scratch your head at.
The Worst: Boston College
Much like the football program itself, these are just boring. There is not much more to really say, to be honest. The ACC isn't exactly setting the world on fire with spectacular uniforms, yet these somehow appear to be the dullest of them all.
The Best: Florida State
It takes a special kind of program to be able to wear jerseys with such unique sleeves and somewhat crazy helmets, but Florida State pulls it off so well. This might not be the most popular choice, sure, but it's definitely harder to argue against these than for them year after year.
