We’re Still Laughing at Jim Harbaugh Getting Hit by a Football

Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh is a national treasure. While many college football fans, and even a few who live in Ann Arbor, are beginning to lose faith in Harbaugh leading the maize and blue, there’s no denying that this man is a gift that keeps on giving. He’s been compared to Paris Hilton, loves being petty, and even eats his boogers.

Harbaugh is known for many things, but winning Big Ten Championships and regularly beating rivals like the Ohio State Buckeyes, Michigan State Spartans and Wisconsin Badgers just aren’t among them. And while the former NFL quarterback is one of the most energetic, enthusiastic football coaches you’ll ever see, Harbaugh’s charisma can result in some pretty hilarious moments on the field.

Look no further than Michigan’s 20-17 win on the road against the Northwestern Wildcats last year. While players were getting loose on the field, Harbaugh got caught in the crossfire when a football came screaming at him. The result is a Jim Harbaugh face that you’ll be playing on a continuous loop over and over again.

Jim Harbaugh Hit by Football

This isn’t the first time we’ve been graced with Jim Harbaugh’s incredible facial flexibility, either. Just look at this collection of faces the khaki-wearing mad-scientist has collected over the years coaching the Stanford Cardinal, San Francisco 49ers, and now his alma mater.

Good luck finding someone in the football world whose face tells a story quite like the King of Khakis.

This man is a national treasure. I can only hope that if the University of Michigan football program eventually does decide to move on from him, another school, or potentially NFL team, inks him to a deal immediately because I’m going to need as many Jim Harbaugh faces as possible in my life.
